Job summary

A quantitative trading technology company is seeking a Senior Backend / Data Infrastructure Engineer to develop an in-house infrastructure for real-time data extraction and analysis. The ideal candidate has strong experience with trading systems, cloud deployment, and real-time data streaming technologies. This role involves building a scalable solution that supports hundreds of accounts, with responsibilities including API development and cloud deployment. The position offers a contract-based engagement with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience with MetaTrader Manager API, MetaTrader Web API, or MetaAPI.
• Proven work in brokerage, prop firm, or financial technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of backend development languages.
• Expertise in real-time data streaming, API design, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud orchestration.
• Understanding of FIX API and TCA methodologies is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build a MetaAPI-like infrastructure with real-time data extraction.
• Develop a REST and WebSocket API layer for dashboards.
• Ensure cloud deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct cost analysis of internal infrastructure.
• Document architecture and deployment for technical teams.
