Job summary

NinjaTrader, a leading futures-focused trading platform, is seeking a senior backend engineer in Chicago to design, build, and deploy high-performance back-end systems supporting live trading data.

You will work with Python and TypeScript, lead teams, ensure uptime, and collaborate with finance and trading teams to implement robust algorithms. 8+ years of experience and US work eligibility are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• BA or MS degree in Computer Science.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proven Python and TypeScript backend experience.
• Familiarity with Linux-based OS.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems for high-volume trading data.
