Royper Royco LLC seeks a Staff Software Engineer to establish the technical foundation for a government-focused product offering. You will design scalable systems for federal agencies, vendors, and SLED organizations, shaping architecture and engineering standards.

You will mentor engineers, lead cross-team initiatives, and build durable systems aligned with FedRAMP, CMMC, and NIST requirements. This role is fully remote within the United States and demands a strong product mindset.

Formación

• At least 10 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Proven track record leading multi-quarter technical initiatives in product environments.
• Strong systems thinking and platform architecture skills.
• Experience in regulated industries such as fintech or healthcare; familiarity with government environments is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Annual cash compensation range of $260,000–$306,000.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for the government-focused product line.
• Lead the design and development of new product capabilities and foundational workflows.
• Collaborate with early design partners to validate solutions and refine requirements.
• Establish reusable abstractions, architectural patterns, and engineering standards.
• Partner with adjacent teams to develop shared infrastructure and government-specific workflows.
• Lead multi-quarter technical initiatives across engineering and product teams.
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers through technical guidance and reviews.
• Raise engineering quality through sound technical decisions and collaboration.
