Job summary

Disney Experiences (DX) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Disney Signature Experience team. You will contribute across the full stack, with a primary focus on backend architecture, scalable APIs, and distributed services for guests and internal systems.

You will collaborate with product managers, analysts, and architects to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, while leveraging cloud-native platforms and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience with production-grade enterprise applications.
• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion within teams.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven full-stack expertise with backend in Java/Spring Boot and frontend in React/Angular with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience designing relational databases and working with NoSQL technologies.
• Experience building cloud-native, microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience supporting production systems, including monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design discussions and architectural decisions for enterprise applications and services.
• Drive best practices for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Partner with product, architecture, and business teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
