Job summary

APADCode is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to own the architecture and evolution of our core backend platform in Texas. You will shape a stateful AI interviewer, manage multi-stage conversations, and ensure secure, scalable execution with robust data capture.

You’ll collaborate directly with the founding team on critical architectural decisions, build reliable pipelines, and drive performance and security across the stack in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and operating SaaS backend systems.
• Expertise in concurrency, asynchronous workflows, and state management.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript for backend services.
• Experience with relational databases, caching, queues, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, and observability.
• Ability to balance latency, reliability, cost, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Real‑time interview orchestration and session lifecycle management.
• Coordinate AI agent flows and handle model latency and retries.
• Implement reliable event capture for candidate and interviewer actions.
• Improve coding execution backend with secure, isolated environments.
• Design pipelines to move events into the Cognitive Intelligence Engine.
• Improve reliability, observability, and production costs.
