Job summary

APADCode is an early-stage AI startup building infrastructure to evaluate software engineers through live, adaptive technical interviews. We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to own the architecture and evolution of our core backend platform, including a stateful AI interviewer and a secure, scalable coding environment.

You will shape real-time interview orchestration, AI agent coordination, event-driven architecture, and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and operating SaaS backend systems.
• Proficient in concurrency, asynchronous workflows, and state management.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Python, Go, or TypeScript in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the stateful runtime powering our Interview Control Engine.
• Build orchestration layer for live conversations and coding permissions.
• Develop event capture to preserve ordering and data integrity.
• Improve coding execution backend with secure isolation and timeouts.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and scalable platform foundations.
