Our customer is an innovative company that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to assist in the care of elderly people. By using predictive algorithms, AI, and IoT home devices, the ecosystem creates an interactive tool that enables care services to better understand and support each elderly individual.

Type of cooperation: Full-time, remote.

Your responsibilities on the project will be:- Design and develop backend services and infrastructure in a cloud environment (AWS).

- Serve as a technical focal point for software development best practices and design of key components, services, and systems.

- Take full ownership and responsibility for multiple development projects.

- Research new technologies, create prototypes, and develop them into production functionalities.

- Contribute to server-side development using microservices architecture, applying the latest industry trends.

- Find the best place to collaborate with stakeholders.

You can be part of the following team:

Softermii's team: 3 Full-stack engineer, and remote team in Istrael.

App team: 1 TL, 2 devs, 1 Manual QA, 1 AutoQA

Data team: 1 TL, 5 devs

Product team: Head, 2 products, 1 designer, 1 medical consultant

Our requirements to you:- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven ability to design and develop high-performance distributed systems. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field;

- Proven experience in developing and maintaining backend (e.g., data pipelines, api, authentication).

- Very strong in architecture and system design using Python.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL, and analytics databases.

- Experience with build systems and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity).

- Skilled in containerized environments using Kubernetes and familiar with message queuing systems like SQS or Kafka.

- Demonstrated experience working specifically with AWS cloud environments (not Azure or GCP).

- Experience in collaborating effectively with both technical and managerial stakeholders.

- Ability to provide proactive consultancy by offering ideas and suggestions for system and process improvements.

- Skill in identifying edge cases, gaps, and potential issues in code implementations.

- Experience in participating in code reviews and contributing to maintaining high code quality standards.

- Passionate about new technologies and data.

It would be cool if you have experience:- Java basic background in AI considered a plus.

- Experience as a data engineer (e.g., Spark, Snowflake) is advantageous.
