Job summary

Intel Corporation in Chandler, AZ or Hillsboro, OR seeks a Facilities Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cutting‑edge facilities infrastructure that supports semiconductor manufacturing and technology development.

You will lead back-end technology innovation, standardize capacity management, and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to qualify next‑generation equipment configurations and optimize energy use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or related STEM field.
• 4+ years in facilities engineering or high-tech infrastructure design.
• Experience with chemical/gas delivery, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Back-End technology innovation to support next-generation packaging tools.
• Standardize capacity management processes across back-end facilities worldwide.
• Lead What-If analyses and collaborate with planning and construction teams.
• Design experiments to evaluate and optimize utility equipment and factory systems.
• Maintain Intel Master Design Specification and operations documents.
