Job summary

Equifax, Inc. in St. Louis is seeking a Senior Legal Contracts Manager to negotiate and draft a broad range of business-to-business contracts, ensuring terms meet company risk standards.

You will lead end-to-end contract negotiations, educate the sales team on contractual risk, and collaborate with Risk Management, Finance and Security to support cross-functional deals in the St. Louis area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of related legal contract review experience

Responsibilities

• Development and fulfillment of contract requirements and terms in the sale/delivery of information services; authorized to draft, review, approve and negotiate diverse customer contracts, contract amendments and extensions.
• Directs, coordinates, and negotiates customer contracts; consolidates information from multiple sources into a comprehensive contract with stakeholder input.
• Combines business and legal expertise to create innovative custom contract solutions to meet business objectives; evaluates contract compliance and advises on rights and obligations.
• Provides guidance on contractual terms, policies and procedures to sales and project managers, including training on contracting practices and procedures.
• Advises sales on business terms, including risk analysis, and collaborates with sales and business to create contractual solutions.
• Coordinates with Risk Management, Finance and Security to fulfill contractual requirements and perform risk analysis; escalates strategic contracts to senior Legal resources as needed.
• Participates in department projects and contributes to process improvement initiatives.
