Aquent Talent is seeking an experienced engineer to design, build, and support high-availability enterprise messaging solutions. You will own geo-replication, multi-region resiliency, and automation frameworks for real-time, mission-critical environments.

Join a hands-on team delivering robust automation, scalable messaging architectures, and reliable disaster recovery testing across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

7+ years of cloud, platform, middleware, integration, or enterprise messaging engineering experience.
Deep hands-on experience with a leading cloud platform and its messaging services.
Experience implementing geo-replication or multi-region messaging solutions.
Advanced infrastructure-as-code experience.
Hands-on experience with HA, DR, RTO/RPO, failover/failback, and DR testing.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support premium messaging solutions.
Implement geo-replication and multi-region resiliency strategies.
Develop and enhance infrastructure-as-code scripts and reusable components.
Design and execute HA/DR testing, failover/failback, and resiliency testing.
Automate deployments and operational processes using scripting languages.
Support messaging queues, topics, subscriptions, DLQs, and message replay/retries.
