Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) seeks a Tier III Azure & Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer to support federal and commercial clients across the United States. The role focuses on enterprise cloud operations, security, and platform modernization.

The engineer will manage Azure subscriptions, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC, develop automation with PowerShell, and contribute to continuous improvement of operations and documentation. U.S. Citizenship required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of enterprise infrastructure or cloud operations experience.
3+ years administering Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC.
Experience with PowerShell automation.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier III support for Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
Manage Azure subscriptions, landing zones, resource groups, and platform services.
Support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
Develop automation and runbooks; create platform documentation.
Coordinate escalations with Microsoft and third-party providers.
