Job summary

Astreya is seeking a senior Azure DevOps and Migration Technical Consultant to lead a massive global enterprise migration program, spanning Git repositories, users, and multiple business units. You will work autonomously within migration pods, troubleshoot complex pipeline failures, and design automated cleanup workflows.

You'll implement secret-less OIDC integrations, build self-hosted GitHub Actions runner PoCs, and partner with stakeholders to balance technical trade-offs under ambiguous

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT experience with 4+ years in Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, and CI/CD automation.
• Hands-on migration experience from SVN, Perforce, Bitbucket or GitLab to GitHub Enterprise / Azure Repos with history preservation.
• Experience with Git LFS and cleaning large repositories.
• Experience with OIDC-based keyless authentication between pipelines and artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory).
• Experience with self-hosted GitHub Actions runners or Azure DevOps build agents.
• Proficiency in Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy VCS and CI/CD pipelines across GitLab, Bitbucket, Perforce, Subversion, and more to GitHub Enterprise / Azure Repos.
• Remediate large repo size limits and manage Git LFS usage and history sanitization.
• Configure and maintain OIDC-based authentication between pipelines and artifact stores.
• Design PoCs for self-hosted GitHub Actions runners and Azure DevOps agents.
• Troubleshoot migration tool failures and update enterprise playbooks and standards.
• Engage with business unit leads to resolve technical trade-offs under ambiguous requirements.
