Job summary

DevAltus is seeking an On-Prem and COTS Migration Lead to guide enterprise migrations from legacy systems to Azure. You will plan, design, and execute large-scale cloud transitions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across US time zones.

You will implement IaC with Terraform and Bicep, build CI/CD pipelines, and secure Azure services while aligning with security and compliance requirements. Senior-level, proactive leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading or executing on-premises-to-cloud migrations.
• 2+ years with on-prem infrastructure (servers, networking, data center ops).
• 6+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering with Azure.
• Deep knowledge of Azure core services and patterns.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong CI/CD and cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support migrations from on-premises into Azure, including workloads on vSphere and Pure Storage.
• Architect and implement Azure-based infrastructure following Well‑Architected Framework.
• Write, review, and maintain IaC modules (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Manage Azure-native services (VMs, AKS, App Services, SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Design multi-subscription hub-and-spoke networking with RBAC and Private Link.
• Deploy and manage security controls (Firewalls, ExpressRoute, ExpressRoute connectivity).
• Monitor with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Dynatrace; troubleshoot RBAC and networking.
• Document architecture and support cross‑time-zone teams.
