Job summary

Machine Intelligence Technologies LLC seeks an experienced Azure Architect to guide architecture and security for Azure migrations and refactoring projects. You will assess lift-and-shift strategies, on-prem to cloud transitions, and refactorings within Azure, conducting MVP testing and aligning with vendor offerings.

The role requires deep Azure expertise, DevOps experience, and strong communication to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of cloud fundamentals.
Knowledge of single and multi-cloud strategies and implications.
Design cloud solutions meeting business requirements in Azure.
Strong knowledge of Azure network and storage architectures.
Strong knowledge of Azure Services (e.g., Key Vault, Entra ID).
Experience with Azure Functions, Web Apps, Containers, micro-services, and server-less architecture.
Understanding cloud security principles including zero-trust and conditional access.
Knowledge of availability options and Azure RPO/RTO objectives.
Ability to write professional architecture documentation.
Experience in cloud security posture and vulnerability remediation.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
Experience with SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
On-premise architect experience is a plus.
Strong communication with technical and business staff.
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Advise on architecture and security concerns with Azure, including migrations/refactoring.
Recommend lift-and-shift and on-premise to cloud-native migrations.
Advise on refactoring within the Azure environment.
Conduct testing in Azure to validate MVP architecture.
Understand offerings from COV, MSI and others.
Configure Azure-based services to support agency objectives.
