Job summary

GlobalLogic in the United States (Charlotte, NC) is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to support cloud infrastructure within Azure, manage virtual machines, and apply Terraform for IaC. The role requires 8+ years of technical support and cloud experience, with hands-on work in Azure VM deployment, networking, and core Azure services.

You will collaborate with a senior team, monitor services, assist with security/compliance, and contribute to automation and documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in technical support and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines deployment, configuration and basic management.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Basic networking concepts applied to cloud environments (VNets, subnets, security groups).
• Exposure to Azure core services and offerings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure components in Azure.
• Support VMs and ensure optimal performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking solutions under supervision.
• Collaborate to apply Terraform for IaC.
• Monitor Azure core services and flag potential issues.
• Help document procedures and configurations.
• Support incident response activities.
• Participate in team discussions to understand project requirements.
