Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern cloud infrastructure. This role will focus heavily on Microsoft Azure, GitHub Actions, and Terraform, with an emphasis on automation, infrastructure reliability, and efficient software delivery.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on and capable of collaborating with technical teams and communicating across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or similar.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Strong Terraform and IaC experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hybrid environment with 2 onsite days per week in Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Support, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services in Azure.
• Improve deployment processes through automation and standardization.
• Partner with development and other technical teams for reliable delivery.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and maintain scalable environments.
