ImagineX is seeking an Atlanta-based Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This contract role involves collaboration with software and data teams to deliver secure, scalable enterprise solutions and requires 2-3 days on-site in Midtown Atlanta based on client needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure including Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, ACR, Cosmos DB, Storage, VNETs, Private Endpoints, Firewalls.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and governance.
• Experience implementing observability and incident response workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Must be located in the Metro Atlanta area

About the Role

We are seeking an Atlanta-basedSenior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support mission-critical enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with software and data engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions for our clients.

You will enjoy working directly with our client in Midtown Atlanta 2-3 days per week based on client needs in this contract position.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).

• Deploy, secure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized workloads.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Partner with engineering teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity, secrets management, and network controls.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
