Job summary

FirstPRO US is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining enterprise Azure infrastructure. This hands-on role emphasizes Azure infrastructure, IaC, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, and platform reliability.

This is a hands-on engineering position focused on Azure infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, and cloud platform operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related engineering role.
• Strong expertise designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments within enterprise organizations.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, particularly Terraform and Bicep.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, preferably AKS.
• Working knowledge of container technologies and cloud-native application deployment.
• Experience with configuration management platforms such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, or equivalent.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of Azure networking, identity management, security, governance, and cloud architecture principles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills supporting highly available distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable infrastructure templates and standardized deployment patterns that support multiple engineering teams.
• Manage core Azure platform services including networking, identity, compute, storage, governance, and security configurations.
• Deploy, administer, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments and containerized applications.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub to streamline software delivery.
• Automate application deployments, infrastructure provisioning, testing, and release processes across development environments.
• Incorporate security validation, automated testing, artifact management, and quality controls throughout deployment pipelines.
• Utilize configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or similar technologies to automate server configuration and compliance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Azure-native tools to improve platform health and operational visibility.
• Create dashboards, alerts, and reporting to proactively identify performance or availability issues.
• Partner with software engineers, cloud architects, security teams, and infrastructure engineers to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
• Participate in production support and incident response for critical cloud services.
• Drive continuous improvements in cloud automation, operational efficiency, deployment standards, and engineering best practices.

• Experience supporting shared cloud platforms used by multiple engineering teams.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or modern data platform technologies is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
