Job summary

PLACE is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to partner with Platform & Infrastructure Engineering leadership, founders, and executives to architect and govern our enterprise Azure cloud platform. You will drive CI/CD and infrastructure automation, set technical standards, and ensure secure, scalable systems across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing enterprise Azure infrastructure.
• Proficient in CI/CD and IaC.
• Experience with security and cost optimization in Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise Azure infrastructure using IaC; establish and enforce cloud architecture standards.
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and deployment patterns; monitor/optimize Azure costs.
• Design, implement, and govern Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams.
• Design and maintain load-testing environments; validate auto-scaling for Azure services.
• Implement security controls aligned with enterprise standards (Key Vault, RBAC).
• Configure Azure WAF policies and APIM; enforce governance standards.
• Implement observability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights; lead RCAs.
• Mentor engineers on Azure/DevOps; lead design reviews and cloud-operations.
• Partner with product teams using Agile/Scrum to align infra delivery.
