Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud/DevOps Engineer to own Terraform-driven infrastructure, deploy and scale Azure resources, and manage AVD in a production federal environment. The role combines hands-on engineering with security compliance and close collaboration with the customer in Washington, DC, on a hybrid schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD, with experience in DoD/federal security frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud engineering/DevOps with substantial Azure experience.
• Deep knowledge of Azure core services and production environments.
• Strong Terraform experience including writing and maintaining modules.
• Solid PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration.
• Experience building/troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on Azure Virtual Desktop in production environments.
• Experience with Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN/ExpressRoute).
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, RMF security controls.
• Ability to work onsite in downtown Washington, DC three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure and services.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and templates.
• Automate operations with PowerShell, Bash, YAML/JSON, and GitLab pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Implement secure cloud practices and maintain compliance with federal standards.
