Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC seeks an Azure Cloud/DevOps Engineer to support a mission-critical federal program in downtown Washington, DC. You will own Terraform modules, deploy Azure infrastructure, manage AVD, and drive CI/CD pipelines with GitLab while ensuring security controls and RMF alignment.

You will work hybrid (three days onsite) with a team in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment, delivering reliable cloud solutions and collaborating with security and program staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering with substantial hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Demonstrated depth with Azure core services and architecture, including designing and operating production environments.
• Strong hands-on Terraform experience, including writing and maintaining modules used by other engineers.
• Solid PowerShell scripting ability for automation and configuration.
• Experience building and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop in production, including host pools and session hosts.
• Experience supporting Azure networking (VNets, routing, NSGs, VPN/ExpressRoute).
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, RMF in federal contexts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate technical concepts.
• Ability to work onsite in downtown Washington, DC three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure (VMs, VNets, Storage, Azure AD, PaaS).
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and templates for the environment.
• Automate cloud operations and configuration with PowerShell, Bash, YAML/JSON, and GitLab pipelines.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments (host pools, session hosts, FSLogix).
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Implement secure cloud practices (RBAC, Key Vault, IAM) and maintain compliance with security controls.
• Use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to track health and SLAs.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and program teams on modernization efforts.
