Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to implement Azure-based platform services, landing zones, and secure configurations for a TS/SCI environment.

You will help design, automate, and operate production cloud platforms across Azure Government. The role requires 8+ years of cloud/DevSecOps experience, strong IaC skills (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible), and hands-on Linux/Windows administration.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
Bachelor's degree or approved equivalent experience.
8+ years of cloud, platform, or DevSecOps engineering experience.
Hands-on Azure Government experience with networking, compute, storage, and identity integration.
Experience with CI/CD and artifact services inside enterprise or disconnected boundaries.

Responsibilities

Implement Azure platform services and landing-zone components under direction.
Develop and maintain IaC modules using Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible, with peer review and testing.
Build and operate pipelines and container registries in GitLab/Jenkins environments.
Implement software supply-chain controls including SBOMs and image signing.
Automate provisioning, patching, backup, and compliance checks; mentor engineers.
