Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years’ Azure development and systems administration experience.
• At least one current Azure Certification.
• Kubernetes experience or certification preferred.
• Solid understanding of Azure services, EntraID and AVD experience preferred.
• Strong networking knowledge; load balancers, VPNs, firewalls preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with automation tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, KQL, Terraform.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork with leadership when needed.
• Proactive problem solving and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor existing Azure environments to maximize performance and uptime.
• Evaluate customer needs, troubleshoot, and provide capacity planning and performance recommendations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents.
• Manage incidents in ticketing system and resolve issues through troubleshooting.
• Document customer interactions clearly in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, Data Protection, and OS teams.
• Provide senior technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Stay updated on Azure offerings and recommend improvements to leadership.
• Engage with Azure Support on behalf of LightEdge customers.
