Job summary

Morrison Foerster is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to oversee the Firm’s Azure environment and Entra identity platform. This role focuses on architecture, governance, networking, and automation, serving as a senior technical authority for landing zones, IAM, and operational resilience.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in enterprise systems engineering with Azure/Entra, IaC experience, and a track record in large cloud migrations at a major organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Eight+ years of enterprise systems engineering experience with Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience leading large cloud migration or identity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architects and maintains the firm’s Azure environment including landing zones and governance.
• Designs and implements cloud security controls with Azure Defender and Key Vault.
• Automates deployment and operations using IaC (Bicep/ARM/Terraform) and scripting.
• Leads hybrid identity and Entra ID administration, including Conditional Access and PIM.
• Provides Tier III support and documentation; mentors junior team members.
