Job summary

Morrison Foerster is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to lead architecture, governance, and operations for our Microsoft Azure and Entra ID environment. You will drive infrastructure as code, automation, and security in a multi-office setting, mentoring staff and collaborating with Information Security.

The role covers Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, and cloud modernization initiatives, with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency across geo locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 8+ years enterprise systems engineering with Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience with large-law-firm environments and multi-geo deployments.
• Security-focused cloud migration and modernization experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, engineer, secure, and operate the Azure environment and Entra ID.
• Lead Azure landing zones, governance, networking, and resiliency initiatives.
• Automate build and operations via IaC and scripting.
• Manage Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, and endpoint services.
• Collaborate with Information Security on cloud security controls.
• Provide Tier III support and mentor IT analysts and engineers.
