Job summary

Egen is hiring for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Azure enterprise data platforms and hybrid multi-cloud integration with Google Cloud. You will design IaC modules, manage a three-plane architecture, and secure networking and data pipelines across Azure and Google Cloud.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes (AKS), data stores, and rigorous compliance (HIPAA/PHI). Experience with Terraform, Spacelift, and CI/CD is essential, with strong RBAC and identity governance.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Azure enterprise data platforms and hybrid multi-cloud architectures.
• Proven ability to deploy and operate AKS-based workloads mentioning GPU node pools.
• Deep proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Spacelift) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA/PHI compliance, data residency, encryption, and secure SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, author, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and deployment pipelines for Azure Enterprise Data environment.
• Implement and manage the three-plane architecture (Control, Data, Target Stores) across Azure subscriptions.
• Configure private networking between Azure and Google Cloud for BigQuery, Cloud Storage, FHIR/ DICOM Stores via private endpoints.
• Deploy and configure Azure services including AKS, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Blob Storage, Key Vault, ACR, and Artifacts.
• Integrate Entra ID RBAC, least-privilege permissions, and SailPoint groups; manage service accounts and JIT elevation.
• Configure centralized logging and monitoring via Azure Monitor with PHI-exclusion.
