Job summary

IFG Companies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure. You will lead security, governance and automation initiatives, building scalable environments and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, AKS and modern DevOps practices. Hybrid work is supported in our Alpharetta office with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IS or related field.
• At least 10 years in cloud infrastructure engineering, with 7+ years in Microsoft Azure.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-305) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, deploy and manage scalable Azure infrastructure."
• Develop and enforce cloud security architecture, identity, networking and monitoring in Azure.
• Drive IaC, governance and standardization using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or related tools.
• Configure dev/test/prod environments and automate deployments and config management.
• Support containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Develop internal tools and dashboards for monitoring and optimization.
• Stay current with Azure innovations and optimize cost/performance.
• Represent Azure infra/security in planning and steering committees.
