Senior Azure Cloud Engineer - Secret

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer. Join our award-winning organization and work with some of the most talented minds in the GovCon industry.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate data from internal and external sources to build data processing systems.
• Create new pipelines and reusable components to support reporting and analytics data products.
• Write complex queries to transform raw data into accessible models through coding.
• Clean, prepare, transform, and optimize data at scale for integration and consumption.
• Implement data management projects and restructure current web architecture.
• Address complex data issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve product issues proactively.
• Own the data pipeline and support system failures.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Azure cloud native technologies.
• 2+ years developing ETL pipelines in Azure using tools like Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Azure Functions.
• 2+ years working with data engineering pipelines using Databricks or Spark.
• 1+ year experience with Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Redis, Synapse.
• 1+ year working with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Oozie.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
• Strong SQL experience.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience with streaming and batching solutions.
• Experience handling CSV, JSON, XML, and complex data structures.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD, security, coding standards, and SDLC cycle.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud migration projects.
• Prior Army support experience.
