Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a Sr. Cloud Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable Azure-based cloud solutions for clients and internal teams. You will blend hands-on technical design with deployment and optimization of Microsoft Azure workloads.

The role requires deep Azure expertise, IaC proficiency, and strong communication to translate business needs into cloud architectures, while collaborating with engineering and operations to deliver reliable, secure services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud engineering or enterprise IT roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure designs, deployments, and support.
• Hands-on Azure migrations and workload transfers.
• Knowledge of Azure security, networking, IAM.
• Proficiency with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform (IaC).
• Scripting in PowerShell and/or Python; Power Automate a plus.
• AZ-305 or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert required or in progress.
• Preferred: AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700, SC-300.
• Experience with AKS, Docker, Nerdio Manager, Azure SQL, Web App Services.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based cloud solutions per standards.
• Translate requirements into practical cloud architectures.
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot IaaS and PaaS on Azure.
• Implement identity services and cloud desktops.
• Establish baseline configurations for Azure workloads.
• Support modernization and migration projects.
• Implement IaC and peer-review IaC modules.
• Implement monitoring, diagnostics, governance, and policy controls.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to align cloud with business needs.
• Provide architectural input and knowledge sharing.
