This hands-on role requires 5–10+ years in Azure infrastructure, strong automation skills, and a track record of cost optimization, security, and governance across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressive experience in Azure infrastructure administration and design.
• Deep expertise in Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, and security services.
• Strong experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, high‑severity production issues.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, HIPAA, etc.).
• FinOps or cloud cost-management experience (preferred).
• Certifications (Microsoft MCSE or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect full Azure environments, including compute, storage, networking, identity, HA/DR, and governance models.
• Define and maintain architecture standards, performance baselines, and operational best practices.
• Lead on‑premises to Azure migrations and major infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Architect hybrid identity solutions (Azure AD Connect, federation models)
• Define RBAC strategies, privileged access models, and Zero Trust policies.
• Implement and govern Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection controls.
• Design and own the enterprise Azure security posture.
• Lead threat analysis, incident response, and security remediation efforts.
• Architect Log Analytics workspaces, monitoring solutions, dashboards, and alerting frameworks.
• Own Azure cost optimization, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Design and manage complex hybrid network architectures.
