Job summary

Artifintech is seeking an API Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise APIs on Azure APIM, with governance and security at the core. You will define policies, authentication, rate limiting, and routing while building secure integrations with Azure services.

The role requires experience building scalable microservices architectures and automating deployments through IaC and CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with security and infrastructure teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting enterprise API solutions in Azure.
• Establish API governance, lifecycle, and security standards.
• Develop and implement APIM policies (auth, rate limiting, transformation).
• Design secure integrations using Azure Integration Services.
• Automate deployments with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise API solutions using Azure APIM.
• Establish API governance standards, lifecycle management, and security best practices.
• Develop APIM policies including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, transformation, caching, and routing.
• Design secure integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and other Azure Integration Services.
• Implement enterprise authentication using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Azure Entra ID.
• Build scalable, highly available microservices-based integration architectures.
• Automate deployments using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Collaborate with cloud, application, infrastructure, and security teams to define API strategies and integration standards.
• Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize gateway configurations.
• Ensure enterprise compliance, governance, and security standards across Azure environments.
