Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC in Illinois is seeking an experienced API Architect to design and implement enterprise API solutions using Azure API Management (APIM).

You will establish API governance, security standards, and policies, design secure integrations with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid, and automate deployments with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise API solutions with APIM.
• Strong knowledge of IaC and cloud security.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Ability to implement CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise API solutions using APIM.
• Establish API governance standards and security best practices.
• Develop APIM policies including authentication, rate limiting, transformation, caching, and routing.
• Design secure integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid.
• Automate deployments using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor API performance and optimize gateway configurations.
• Ensure compliance and governance across Azure environments.
