Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build enterprise-grade microservices and modern web applications. You will work with Product Owners, BAs, QA, and Architects, delivering scalable, secure solutions.

The role offers remote work within the United States and requires hands-on TypeScript and AWS experience, with strong SQL/PLSQL skills and a focus on code quality and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing applications with TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Strong experience with SQL/PLSQL for data access and database programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and build responsive web applications with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and maintainability, writing unit, integration, and automated test cases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, support DevOps activities, and troubleshoot production issues to provide timely resolutions.
