Job summary

Cognizant seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and build enterprise-grade microservices and modern web apps using AWS and TypeScript. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, QA, and Architects to deliver scalable, secure solutions for enterprise clients.

You will develop RESTful APIs, ensure performance and security, contribute to architectural decisions, and implement CI/CD pipelines. This remote-friendly role requires hands-on experience with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL,

Qualifications

Hands-on experience developing applications with TypeScript.
Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions on AWS.
Strong experience with SQL/PLSQL for data access and database programming.

Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and build responsive web applications with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and maintainability, writing unit, integration, and automated test cases.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, support DevOps activities, and troubleshoot production issues to provide timely resolutions.
