Job summary

Amazon in Seattle (WA) is seeking a technology auditor to assess AWS security and operational risk within our Internal Audit team. You will dive deep into architectures and partner with service teams to strengthen controls and improve security posture.

Responsibilities include planning, scoping, execution, and reporting on risks across identity access management, data security, monitoring, and release processes. Up to 10% travel may be required, including international travel.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience.
• Experience with SQL and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into a variety of complex architectures, identify risks and ensure AWS services are designed and operating securely.
• Support the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting based on identified risks; assessment scope may include identity/access management, data security/privacy, service monitoring, release management, and service availability.
• Provide independent and objective input to help service teams improve controls, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance.
