We are seeking a SysOps Contractor to provide capacity and operational redundancy by taking ownership of routine infrastructure and operational activities, including server administration, access management, AWS support, monitoring, patching, SFTP, deployments, Ansible/automation, and standard infrastructure changes.

Onboarding the resource in September would provide the necessary time for knowledge transfer before holiday readiness while reducing the operational and business risk. The resource could initially be onboarded as a contractor, with the flexibility to evaluate a contract-to-hire opportunity based on performance.

Contract Responsibilities:

• Linux and Windows server administration and production support
• Active Directory administration and user management, including account access, group membership, permissions, and infrastructure-related access requests
• AWS infrastructure, including EC2 provisioning, storage, snapshots, networking, DNS, and cost optimization
• Infrastructure support for RMS, SIS, POS, IMS, Shipping, Move, RMJ, WebLogic, and other Corporate Solutions applications
• Server builds, cloning, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning
• SFTP and file-transfer integrations and troubleshooting
• Security vulnerabilities, patching, certificates, access requests, and remediation
• Production incidents and complex troubleshooting
• Application/infrastructure deployments from GitHub repositories
• Ansible automation for server configuration, software/agent installation, deployments, and repeatable infrastructure tasks
• Bash/shell scripting for automation, administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational support
