NBME is seeking an AWS Serverless Software Engineer to join the Product Engineering Unit and contribute to mission-critical exam delivery platforms. You will design, build, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native applications using AWS serverless technologies, APIs, and IaC in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on AWS experience, strong software fundamentals, and the desire to advance cloud engineering and DevOps skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS serverless development experience.
• Experience developing and supporting cloud-native applications.
• Strong Python skills, including boto3.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed applications.
• Experience with IaC (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices (IAM, encryption, Secrets Manager).
• Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail).

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on AWS serverless technologies.
• Develop and enhance event-driven, secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and solution planning under guidance of senior engineers.
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and distributed components.
• Implement IaC, deployment automation, and operational processes.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot production issues, and drive performance improvements.
• Develop data integration and storage solutions to support business needs.
• Apply security best practices across the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Security teams; participate in Agile ceremonies.
