Job summary

Jabil is seeking a backend-focused developer to join a Product Team delivering custom platform solutions in the Supply Chain & Procurement space. The role emphasizes AWS Serverless technology, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate will design, implement, and integrate backend services and APIs, collaborating with architects, database engineers, and cross-functional teams. Front-end basics with Angular/TypeScript may support full-stack efforts when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing backend applications, services, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains backend applications, services, and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develops business logic and integration components that connect enterprise applications and third-party systems.
• Consumes and exposes APIs to enable data exchange between applications and platforms.
• Performs unit, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoots and resolves application, integration, and API-related issues.
• Participates in code reviews and follows established coding standards, security practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation, including solution designs, API specifications, and integration diagrams.
• Works closely with database developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and solution architects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identifies opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability, scalability, and reliability.
• Provides technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers when required.
