Job summary

Benz Technology is seeking a backend software engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend components within an Agile delivery team. The role covers cloud-hosted stacks, clean code, and quality assurance across the development lifecycle.

You will work with Java, C++, or Python, manage PostgreSQL databases, and deploy services in AWS. Strong testing, documentation, and collaboration skills with Jira/Confluence are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• SQL query development and database management.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, C++, or Python.
• Write and execute test procedures to validate software components.
• Manage and query relational databases using SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate and deploy services within AWS cloud environments.
• Ensure quality control of developed and modified software throughout the sprint cycle.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Collaborate with team members using Agile tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Manage source code and support collaborative development workflows using Git.
