Job summary

The role focuses on thorough IaC reviews (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation), secure deployments, and cost discipline. It emphasizes deep, non-on-call reviews on a defined cadence, with a flexible schedule and remote work from the US.

Qualifications

• Substantial, hands-on AWS experience required.
• Active AWS certifications required.
• Experience with regulated workloads (HIPAA, CMMC, FedRAMP, PCI) is a meaningful differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Review IaC and deployment pipelines for correctness, security posture, cost discipline, and architectural soundness across services (VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
• Produce actionable review notes for senior engineers and provide architecture trade-off input.
• Occasionally join brief technical syncs when needed.
