Job summary

Wyden is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to own the infrastructure architecture for the Run function, leading DevOps standards and building scalable AWS-based environments for a growing set of client deployments.

You will design IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt, build CI/CD pipelines, and mentor a junior SRE while collaborating with the CTO and Head of Run to align with strategic roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven, production-depth AWS expertise across the full infrastructure stack.
• Senior-level IaC experience: Terraform and Terragrunt in production environments.
• CI/CD pipeline design and ownership: from scratch to production.
• Kubernetes operations at depth: EKS, multi-tenant production environments.
• Strong scripting and automation: Python and Bash.
• Monitoring/observability stack ownership: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to document architecture clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS architecture for Wyden customer environments, ensuring scalability, security and cost-efficiency.
• Design, build, and govern IaC and CI/CD pipelines; automate deployments and rollbacks.
• Develop and maintain full observability stack and alerting with actionable signals.
• Coordinate release engineering and pre-deployment validation with teams.
• Lead migration and runtime improvements for customer platforms and environments.
• Recruit, onboard, and technically lead the junior SRE; build team capability.
