Job summary

Aptino, Inc. is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer VI - Data Services to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure for data lakes, AI/agent platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and graph databases.

Role supports multiple locations: Saint Louis, Denver, or Charlotte. Key responsibilities include designing AWS infra with services like S3, Glue, and Neptune, and building Terraform/CloudFormation frameworks, cross-account connectivity, and production reliability practices in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of platform/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong AWS expertise and hands-on Terraform experience.
• Experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Linux, Python, IAM, networking, and REST APIs/AWS SDK.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS infrastructure using S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.
• Build and maintain Terraform/CloudFormation infrastructure and secure cross-account connectivity.
• Support AI agent runtime environments, Docker containers, LangSmith Deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Develop Python-based automation, CLIs, integration services, and operational tooling.
• Support AWS Neptune/graph database infrastructure, monitoring, scaling, and performance.
• Implement production monitoring, alerting, security, incident response, and reliability practices.
