Applied Information Sciences (AIS) seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support a Federal contract in a large-scale multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle).

The role covers design, development, deployment, and sustainment of cloud-native solutions, with emphasis on security, cost effectiveness, and resiliency; involves mentoring engineering teams and guiding DevSecOps practices.

Qualifikationen

• Twelve years of AWS cloud environment experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• IAT-2 Certification and cloud-based credentials.
• Active Secret Clearance and multi-cloud experience.
• Experience across full cloud lifecycle and security practices.

Aufgaben

• Provide cloud operations and engineering support for scalable AWS solutions.
• Develop cloud strategies and roadmaps aligned with objectives.
• Drive DevOps adoption, IaC, and automation frameworks.
• Design and maintain secure cloud architectures with zero-trust principles.
• Implement and sustain CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS and manage security controls.
