Job summary

AIS is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support federal client projects, focusing on cloud-based networks, system integration, and proactive monitoring. You will work on upgrading and maintaining infrastructure across multi-OS environments with virtualization and core cloud services.

This role requires collaboration with teams and strong documentation practices. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of AWS/cloud infra experience, IAT-2 and a cloud cert within 6 months, and an active Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise AWS cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
• Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drives stability and sustainability of cloud-based networks and software systems for scaling and reliable operations.
• Performs system integration, verification, and validation and supportability analyses for total systems.
• Creates proactive engineering mechanisms to manage health of distributed VMs.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications.
• Utilizes trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes.
