Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, API Gateway, Glue Crawlers, Athena)
• 7+ years of software development experience with Java/J2EE/Spring/Hibernate
• 5+ years of experience modernizing legacy applications and cloud-native development
• 5+ years of experience with database modernization and migrations
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps and automation
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience
• Experience with ETL tools and data pipelines
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and modernization strategies
• Design, develop, and test Java-based cloud-native applications and backend systems
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and analytics
• Analyze data models and requirements to ensure accurate processing
• Validate data by querying databases for accuracy and integrity
• Create and execute backend test cases and ensure coverage
• Review code and ensure security and coding standards
• Monitor performance and optimize for cost, security, and reliability
• Resolve technical issues and refine requirements with product managers
