Job summary

Serigor Inc. is seeking an AWS/Java/ETL Developer in a hybrid Raleigh, NC environment. The role requires 8–10 years of software development experience and extensive AWS cloud, Java, and ETL expertise to design, implement, and manage cloud-native data solutions.

You will collaborate with data modernization teams, design ETL pipelines, ensure data accuracy, and optimize systems for cost and security while following Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Experience modernizing legacy apps and migrating to cloud.
• Hands-on AWS services to build enterprise data lakes.
• Strong Java stack: Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate.
• Experience with transactional or RDMS databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps and automation tools.
• Experience with data analytics using Power BI or AWS QuickSight is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose modernization strategies.
• Design, develop and test Java-based cloud-native applications and backend systems.
• Design, build and maintain ETL pipelines.
• Analyze data models and business requirements.
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy within applications.
• Create and execute test cases; conduct backend testing.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure test coverage.
• Utilize AWS services within application architecture.
• Develop, test, and deliver within timeline using best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce security best practices.
• Monitor performance and optimize for cost, security, and reliability.
• Identify and resolve technical issues; ensure adherence to standards.
