Job summary

IntelliBee in Raleigh, NC is hiring an AWS/Java developer with 8-10 years of software development experience to design, implement, and manage cloud-native solutions aligned with data modernization goals.

You will collaborate with data teams, refactor legacy apps, build data lakes with AWS services, develop Java Spring/Hibernate backends, and ensure secure, cost-efficient operations while following Agile methods.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of software development experience.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating to cloud environments.
• Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring framework and Hibernate.
• Experience with transactional or RDMS databases.
• Familiar with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Strong SQL, data modeling and performance tuning skills.
• ETL tooling experience; cloud-based ETL is a plus.
• Knowledge of data analytics with Power BI or AWS QuickSight.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose modernization strategies.
• Design, develop, test Java-based, cloud-native applications and backend systems.
• Build, maintain and optimize ETL pipelines.
• Analyze data models and business requirements for data accuracy.
• Create and execute test cases; validate back-end logic.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure coverage and quality.
• Utilize AWS services within application architecture.
• Deliver high-quality code on time using best practices.
