Job summary

CACI seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Platform team, focusing on AWS GovCloud architectures, security, and scalable operations. You will lead design and implementation of IaaS/IaC, ensure compliance with DoD standards, and drive disaster recovery planning across regions.

You should have 10+ years in systems/software engineering, a Secret clearance, and AWS certifications. Excellent communication with executives and cross‑functional teams is essential to influence strategy and delivery.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 10 years of systems/software engineering experience.
Active Secret clearance (minimum).
AWS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Architect, manage, and optimize AWS GovCloud environments aligned with business and mission objectives.
Design and implement operations planning to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Support administrators in deploying and managing Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service (IaaS) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) solutions.
Ensure the security and compliance of DoD systems, including implementation of NIST SP 800‑171 security controls, DISA STIGs, and DFARS 252.204‑7012 requirements.
Architect and implement multi‑region disaster recovery strategies to ensure system resilience and continuity.
