Job summary

CGI is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline initiatives within a large financial services environment.

The role focuses on AWS infrastructure, infrastructure automation, and the migration of application pipelines to GitLab, with hands-on experience in GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and Jenkins. Collaboration with enterprise teams is essential to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, including migrating existing application pipelines to GitLab
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and AWS infrastructure automation
• Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of Jenkins and enterprise build/deployment processes
• Experience with source control platforms such as GitLab and Bitbucket
• Familiarity with UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) or similar deployment automation tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Ability to work effectively with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams in a large enterprise environment
• Financial services or other highly regulated enterprise experience is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support AWS infrastructure, maintain and improve automated deployment pipelines.
• Migrate existing pipelines to GitLab and align with enterprise requirements.
• Partner with application teams to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
