Job summary

LeadsOnline is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native SaaS products on AWS. You will lead service-based architectures that are scalable, resilient, and secure, while shaping deployment patterns and infrastructure as code.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with QA and engineering, and continuously improve performance, observability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated ownership of production systems.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and scaling SaaS applications on AWS, using service-based architecture.
• Strong expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Argo CD), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services, including EKS, and operating applications in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, JavaScript, Handlebars, or similar).
• Advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills, particularly in complex production systems.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies, using tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with data and search technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native SaaS applications on AWS.
• Lead and contribute to service-based architectures that are scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable.
• Define, provision, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Share ownership of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with tools like Jenkins and Argo CD.
• Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to promote shift-left testing and automatic quality checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with minimal downtime.
• Participate in Agile practices and cross-functional collaboration to deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Improve developer workflows, observability, and operational excellence.
